Dear Dr. Haytham
Hope this letter finds you and
your good family health and wealthy. Since your are working in the field
of Human Rights and you are considered as a national person in Syria,
we appeal for your intervention to stop the illegal action from the
Syrian Intelligence Authorities and that is we are always subjected to
investigations when we visiting Syria because our parents are banished
from Syria since the early 1980s.I admit that the treatment is polite to
somehow (so far!); however, this doesn't mean that we should visit them.
In fact, when we come to visit Syria most of the time we have a month of
vacation period; in so many visits we spend 2-3 weeks to get the travel
permission from them and that is really ruining our vacation and our
nerves. I know some persons who don't get the travel permission
sometimes!! Some should pay an under table to get the permission!! We
feel that we are considered as second-level citizens accordingly.
This letter is on behalf of
thousands of persons living outside Syria and facing the same situation.
We believe that you can do something for us and you are our hope after
Allah; otherwise, I am not, personally, going to visit Syria any more in
the future and this action is going to be from so many persons as well
and hence it will add thousands and thousands to the number of people
banished from Syria. Thanks and best regards,
